Wellsir, looks like I’ve been tagged for this here thing. Not once, but twice (how’d that happen?) by karmicdreaming and Midnight Poesy. Thanks, guys! So I now have to pick out my top ten beauty products to share with all you lovely people out there in the world.

    1. e.l.f. Eyeshadow “C” Brush
They’re cheap. They’re soft. They’re long enough in the bristle to get good lid coverage, and dense enough to work a good crease. Or faux crease, in my case, as I have deep, hooded, caveman eyes, and have to set my crease along the bottom edge of my browbone. Stupid face! Grr!

    More behind the cut! Huzzah!

    2. Urban Decay Primer Potion in Sin and Greed
These are nice, smooth, but not too greasy (as I’ve noticed with some eyelid primers). I love the way that Sin kicks up the shine of shimmers and frosts, and how Greed makes brights their brightest. GREED: It’s like BLEACH for your EYELIDS. On second thought, that’s probably not a great thing to say about it. But know that I mean it with love.

    3. Rimmel Glam’Eyes Day 2 Night Mascara
I hate mascara. The way it clumps, tacks my bottom and top lashes together, and generally weighs down my lids. When I saw this one with its fabulously designed two-way wand, I figured I’d give it a whirl. The “Lengthening” wand setting essentially runs the brush through a tiny, tiny little tube, which scrapes off the majority of the product, leaving only just enough to darken your lashes, which is all I really care about. But the “Volume” wand setting is nice to have as an option, if I really want to build the thickness of my lashes (almost never).

    4. Bath & Body Works Signature Collection Shampoo & Conditioner
Particularly, in Mango Mandarin. I am completely and totally cheesed off that they discontinued the body care in this fragrance, but at least they didn’t send the Shampoo & Conditioner the way of the dodo. I have been using this shampoo & conditioner for years and years, only taking very brief breaks in between bottles to keep my hair from getting so used to it that it becomes ineffective. It leaves a rather strong fragrance in its wake, and softens my locks like no other shampoo and conditioner has ever done.

    5. Olay Active Hydrating Beauty Fluid for Sensitive Skin
I never thought my skin was particularly sensitive, but my face has had issues with other facial moisturizers I’ve tried… even other Olay ones. This one works wonderfully for me. My only complaint is that it has no UV protection – I’ll definitely pick up that variety once this bottle runs dry.

    6. RockABetty Beauty Pinup Complexion Enhancer
When is this ever coming back? I only have a sample size in “Glow”, and I’m in so much love it hurts. It imparts no colour on my fair skin, but adds a sheer layer of sparkling radiance. A pound of this would transform your entire body into a sparklefairy vampire. It’s great!

    7. Burt’s Bees Beeswax Lip Balm
Seems that most folk fall into two camps: Team Carmex, and Team Bees. I used to be part of Team Carmex, until the boyf introduced me to Burt’s Bees. It was love. Though a lot of people complain about how hard and waxy the balm is, that’s pretty much what I love about it – once it’s on, it sticks forever. The peppermint thingle is a nice bonus, too.

    8. Urban Decay Eyeshadows
URBAN DECAY URBAN DECAY URBAN DECAY. Seriously, what do I really need to say about these eyeshadows? They dominate my collection. They’re smooth, buttery, richly pigmented, and they apply well on a whim without primer. Even their neutrals are worth drooling over – in fact, it was Urban Decay that made me fall in love with wearing neutral eyes. They’re the bee’s knees. And, when put into a palette, they’re an extremely amazing value.

    9. Sally Hansen Hard as Nails Clear Strengthener
Again, a classic you just can’t fade. I’ve tried other base coats and strengtheners, but this one is by far the best. Not only do my nails really get more sturdy with this formula, but my nail polish suffers far less chipping with this than any other top or base coat. Granted, I’ll keep trying new polishes just for curiosity’s sake, but I always come right back to this one in the end.

    10. Good Sleep
There are a lot of other things I could’ve put in the top ten (in no particular order), but honestly, sleep is a wonderful, beautiful thing that deserves more attention and praise. Being well rested helps your body and mind recharge, keeps your immune system stable, and leads to healthier habits all around. While I surely to goodness don’t get enough of this, it is a treat I thoroughly enjoy, appreciate, and advocate.

So, now, who shall I tag? My apologies to anyone who has already done this – if you’ve already been tagged, you don’t have to do it twice. But for the sake of interest, I’d like to see the top tens from these bloggers:
