30 Day Fashion/Beauty Photo Challenge: Eyeshadow
Your Favorite Color of Eyeshadow:
Never in a million years did I think I would select a freaking neutral as my top favourite colour, but well, here we are. Of all the things in my makeup collection, this is the shade that I reach to the most. Why? Because it’s neutral, therefore easy to make look amazing. But it’s not a boring neutral. It is a rich, coppery bronze with plenty of sheen to make it dead sexy. Plus it’s the perfect middle-of-the-road shade, that can be used for both light and dramatic looks. I’m glad Urban Decay includes this in a good number of their palettes, because I will never want to run out of this, ever.
Detrivore Cosmetics Decomposition is one that came into my life recently, and I am absolutely in love with it. It is a bright, crisp royal blue with subtle purple sparkle that applies exactly as seen in the packaging, with or without primer.
The dusty-rosey shade to the right is Madd Style Cosmetix “Bam! Rock!”, which I feel like I should hate. I mean, nothing about me screams rosey. I’d like to think I’m the antithesis of rosey. But this one has such a delicious shine that I can’t help but to love it.
Finally, my green of choice is MAC Golder’s Green. I regret not picking this particular pigment up in a full size, because I’ve already burned through two samples, and am currently working on my third. This is one that I wore a lot when I didn’t want to fuss with much makeup. Just apply to the lids with a damp brush, blend up on the browbone with a dry brush, and apply a light, flesh-toned highlight under the brow. Done in two colors. I haven’t used it much lately, but it still ranks as one of my favorites.
Of course, there are plenty others that I absolutely love, but I wanted to at least attempt to not take pictures of my entire collection.
